Missions
A heart for missions is more than loving people; it is loving God. Missions is about making God's name known among the nations. Psalm 96:2-4 says, "Sing to the Lord, bless His name; proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods." When Isaiah saw the glory of the Lord, he willingly offered himself for service. He said, "Here am I! Send me!" Churches with a grand vision of God will have a genuine heart for world evangelization.

Worship
Christians have gathered every Sunday morning, the first day of the week, for almost 2000 years. Traditionally, we have spoken of this time as our worship service and rightly so. Everything that we do is directed for the praise, honor, and worship of our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ the Lord, through the Holy Spirit. As a worship service, all of our activities must be God-centered, making God and not man the ultimate consumer of our sermons and songs. He is the sole recipient of our praise. Hence, our worship must emphasize the way we appear before God, rather than the way we appear before men.

Preaching The Word
There is an exclusive and powerful relationship between the word of God and our immortality. The preaching of the gospel results in new birth (1 Peter 1:23). And this regeneration - this new creation - is a glorious thing to behold in the lives of people.
